TMJ, also known as the Temperomandibular joint or the joint that puts together a jaw on a face.

What muscles does the jaw consist of? Masseter, Temporalis, medial pterygoid and lateral pterygoid

What does it do? Moves the jaw to open and close, side to side and front to back. Basically, the TMJ helps to chew your food!

Having trouble eating a burger? Oh No! Now what?!? Eat something soft? For life?

When it's tight, locked, or overworked, the muscles of mastication can feel very weak and sometimes accompany with headaches.

Fear not, the Chiropractor at Epoch Chiropractic in Wlimington, Delaware is here!
